LANHAM, Md. (WNEW) — Just in case standard doughnuts weren’t sweet enough for your liking, Dunkin’ will be topping some with the chick-shaped marshmallow Peeps candies this Easter season, Buzzfeed reports.
The restaurant chain already has the confection listed on its website, although they won’t be in stores until March 31, an executive chef tells Buzzfeed.
Online nutrition information says the Peeps doughnuts will have 310 calories and 21 grams of sugar. In comparison, a standard chocolate-frosted doughnut has 270 calories and 13 grams of sugar.
They will be flower-shaped and will come in two varieties — strawberry icing with green drizzle or green icing with strawberry drizzle.
At least one Twitter user has already spotted the Easter-themed pastries on the shelves.
